Quencers

Quencers are elements used to lower the flue gas temperature by injecting atomized water in co-current, usually flue gases come from the upper part of this element and distribution of injection is studied in a way to ensure a good mix with the gases themselves by avoiding wetting the walls.

On the bottom so there will be no water deposit, thing that will reduce all problems of corrosion and acid condensation.
