ATS, in partnership with LEFA, will attend at RENSEF 2014 in Antalya

In Antalya which is the greenhouse capital of Turkey, serious amount of plants are removed from greenhouses annually. Left over foods and mown lawn in hotels creates huge amount of biowaste everyday. In total it's estimated that 3.5 million tons of biowaste is created annually. The subject to converting this biowaste to energy is quite popular in the industry.

In Antalya, the horticulture capital of Turkey, biowastes and greenhouse plant wastes are almost as much as city wastes by volume. It is estimated that there are approximately 100.000 greenhouse facilities. The plants removed from the greenhouses that are decaying on the open air, are causing environmental pollution. However it is possible to produce electrical energy from these plant wastes.

Municipalities in the Region as well as producers cooperatives and energy investors are interested in these projects. But financing sources of these projects may sometimes leave the investors without a clear decision. "How can these projects take form?", "How can an investor take part?", "How can the investment cost of these facilities be financed?", "Who can build these facilities?", "Who can finance them?", "How can they be operated?", "What are their legal procedures?".

The related institution and investors are looking for answers. Building facilities that generate electrical energy from biowastes are on the agenda. Is it possible to take precaution against environmental pollution, produce energy and produce organic fertilizer at the same time?

ATS and its partner LEFA will attend at RENSEF 2014 to provide some answers to those questions; if you want to know more about our technology please come to discuss with us directly in our stand.
