ATS Portogruaro (Italya) yeni baca gazı arıtma sisteminin sözleşmesini almıştır

Zignago Vetro is the parent company of the Holding listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in the STAR segment, which has been a protagonist, since the fifties, of the national and international high-quality packaging market. It produces in its production sites, among which that of Fossalta di Portogruaro, containers for the food and beverage, cosmetics and perfumery markets.

The key factors of the growth path, both for external and internal lines, undertaken by this Italian company are contained in the continuous improvement of the quality and innovation of the products, but also in the efficiency combined with high flexibility. Values necessary to compete at the highest levels and to respond to changing market needs. The pursuit of the quality of products and services permeates the entire corporate culture. Quality starts from the identification of the customer's needs, develops throughout all stages of production and is completed with controls on the finished product. The goodness of the service is based instead on the timeliness of the answers, on the development of customized products and on the punctuality of deliveries.

All this is reflected in Italy at the Fossalta di Portogruaro plant, where the company has decided to add a new and efficient melting furnace to meet the ever-increasing market demand.

This increase in potential has as a direct result a need to expand also the flue gas treatment plant. For this purpose, an injection of hydrated lime was then foreseen inside a dry reactor positioned upstream of an electrostatic precipitator (ESP). The lime will then react with the sulfur oxides present in the flue gases, thus transforming the pollutants into sulfates and sulphites that can be easily captured by the ESP positioned downstream.

This technology represents a standard for the glass industry as it combines excellent environmental performance with reduced maintenance requirements and the possibility of working at temperatures typical of this industrial process.

The intervention of ATS will therefore be focused on the implementation of this system so that it combines the high environmental performance required, such as to guarantee SOx levels lower than 300 mg/Nm3 and dust below 10 mg/Nm3, and also reduced maintenance, in any case facilitated thanks to an accurate design of all the accessibility of the system.
